Preschool Graduation...

This is a picture of Luke and Julia on their first day of preschool..

And on their last day.

They really enjoyed Mrs. Knapp as their teacher.

It was pretty cute watching all the boys gravitate together.  Most of them were trying to build cars.

As they walked on stage they got a glimpse of Elyse and they were SO EXCITED TO SEE HER!  They both were saying, "There's bugaboo!"  "That's my sister!"  "Hey BUG!"

They Passed!

A few of their friends we do weekly picnics with and we are going to continue this throughout the summer.  It was a great first year!

April Fun...

We got to go to Beauty and The Beast with Alexa, Grandma, and Aunt Callie.  It was an awesome performance.  Here is a picture of the girls acting like Belle and Luke posing as Gaston (he is flexing his muscles)

Luke has made huge strides since his first practice.  Day one he would barely tap the ball as he "dribbled" down the field.  I am proud to announce last practice he gave the ball some good hard kicks!

12 months

Bugaboo is one!!  The morning of her birthday Julia runs downstairs and says, "WHERE'S MY BIRTHDAY GIRL HUH?!  She proceeds to explain that Elyse's legs are longer, her hair is longer, AND she had more teeth, all overnight!

Elyse also took her first steps the night before her 1 year birthday.  She is starting to walk a lot more between things.  I think we will have a full time "walker" in no time!

She continues to be happy and laid back! 

She loves to swing!

Elyse knows all the junk food.  Chips, cake, cookies, candy....you name it...she wants it!!!

She wants to do anything and everything her brother and sister do...including arts and crafts.

She loves to look out our windows at the birds.  She will stand here and way goodbye to dad, luke and julia and blow them kisses.  

Elyse can climb up and down our stairs with ease!  

To own or not to own?

I have always said, I will NEVER own a dog.  How can you say no to this?

Maybe someday?? (not anytime soon) :-)

First Set of Wheels...

Luke and Julia just celebrated their 4th birthday (more pictures on that to come later).  We got them a gator to share for their birthday.  This caused a HUGE meltdown on Luke's end, because he wanted to be the FIRST ONE TO DRIVE!!!  After asking him why he was SO UPSET as to why he couldn't drive first he answers, "Because BOYS ARE THE DRIVERS AND GIRLS ARE PASSENGERS!"  I proceeded to ask if I drove the van.  He, as a smart new 4 year old, says, "Yes, but only if dad isn't with us!"  

Luke has fortunately has come to terms that Julia will be driving as well.  As we were cruising down the sidewalk and they were driving together I thought, "I wonder if this is how they will be when they are 16?! 

Impossible...

To get all 3 kids to look at the camera at the same time!

Elyse was so excited to get outside and point at all the new things she saw!

None the less...you can tell we have 3 happy, wonderful, busy kids... even if they won't take the time to look at the camera!
